Working the Room
What is the best way to network during a company presentation? There are always so many people lining up to talk to the presenters. How should I follow-up with the managers I meet there?
Answer
Company presentations are a time to be on your game and quick on your feet. Get there early and talk to as many people as you can, as many company representatives will show up early. Collect business cards from everyone you meet and make notes on the back regarding your conversations. This way, when you send a follow-up email, you can mention something that was directly related to your conversation.
